Corrupted Roots

Overview

This game is created during the 2023 Global Game Jam. It is a platformer where the player delves into the roots of a poisoned tree to heal it from corruption.

Controls/Mechanics

• A-D keys to move
• Space to jump 
• Jump up vines to rapidly ascend 
• Jumping immediately upon hitting a wall will afford you one wall jump
• Jumping on the mushroom enemy's head will launch the player upward
